Remote Healthcare Administration Internship (RHAI)

Program Information

A Message from the LIFT/RHAI Founders

In March 2020, we observed the need to assist students and early careerists who were unable to start or complete healthcare administration internship programs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Within weeks, we founded the Leadership Innovation Foundation Team (LIFT) company and launched the Remote Healthcare Administration Internship (RHAI). RHAI was an eight (8) week virtual internship program that provided:

✓weekly sessions led by subject matter experts, healthcare leaders and professionals
✓experiential project-based assignments and case studies
✓actionable and readily implementable healthcare project
✓career and leadership development workshops
✓ a civic engagement where interns decided to recognize frontline workers.
✓ mentorship, sponsorship, and many more professional opportunities

RHAI was the first of its kind in the nation. We fulfilled our mission and exceeded expectations despite the uncertainties and challenges presented by the global pandemic and the renewed effort to bring about much needed social change. On August 21, 2020, thirty-nine (39) diverse future healthcare leaders from around the world successfully completed the program.

We’re grateful for the assistance and support of our advisory board, speakers, and sponsors who collaborated with us to make this program successful.

We are particularly thankful for our interns’ unwavering support and participation in the program. Without a doubt, we know they will excel in their future endeavors.

After weeks of discussion and deliberation, we’ve made the extremely difficult decision to not continue on with LIFT & RHAI.

If you have any questions about the program, please reach out to either of us.

To health,
LIFT and RHAI Partners
